Every project we've worked on tells its own story. These aren't just buildings - they're spaces where people actually live, work, and create memories. Here's what we've been up to lately, from cozy family homes to larger commercial spaces that needed a fresh take.
This one's close to our hearts. The family wanted something that didn't scream 'eco-house' but still hit all the sustainability marks. We worked with the natural slope of the lot instead of fighting it, which saved them a ton on grading costs and kept more trees standing.

"We didn't want our home to feel like a science experiment. The team got that right away. It's comfortable, it's ours, and yeah - our heating bills are basically nothing now. Win-win."
- Michael & Sarah T., Homeowners
Taking a 1980s office block and making it work for today wasn't easy. The clients wanted to gut everything, but we convinced them to work with what was already there - turned out the bones were solid. Exposed the concrete, added tons of natural light, and created flexible spaces that actually adapt to how people work now.

"They saved us from making expensive mistakes. The phased approach meant we stayed operational during construction, which was crucial for our business."

Six units on a tricky infill lot. The neighborhood was skeptical at first - they'd seen too many boxy developments that ignored the character of the area. We spent months getting the massing right, making sure each unit felt private but the whole thing still had that community vibe Kits is known for.

"The attention to detail is incredible. My unit faces the courtyard and it's like having a private park. Plus my energy costs are almost zero."

A former convenience store turned neighborhood cafe. The owner wanted to keep that corner-store feel but make it welcoming. We opened up the front, added huge windows, and kept most of the original brick exposed. Place is packed every morning now.

Weekend getaway that had to work off-grid. Solar, rainwater collection, composting toilet - the whole deal. But it doesn't feel rustic or rough. It's actually pretty luxurious, just happens to be self-sufficient. The ferry ride's worth it.

Medical spaces don't have to feel sterile and depressing. Brought in natural materials, tons of plants, and designed the layout so waiting doesn't feel like punishment. Patients actually comment on the space, which never happens at clinics.
Two families, one lot, and a tight budget. They wanted separate homes but didn't want it to look like your typical side-by-side. We staggered the units, gave each one its own outdoor space, and made sure the windows didn't directly face each other. Privacy without walls everywhere.

"Living next to family could've been awkward, but the design gives us all the space we need. We see each other when we want to, not because we have to."
